.

I learned many things on my trip to Greece. i visited many Greek islands,  historic sites, and experienced the Greek heritage. In order to get to my destination(Greece) i took a plane there. For the first two nights we just walked around and got used to the surroundings. one historic site that I visited was the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. The Acropolis in Athens, Greece was the center of athens. It was built on top of the highest point in athens and was used to see far distances to look for other invading armies. The acropolis was said to be built in 432 B.C. Another historic site that I visited was the city of Troy located in Northwest Turkey. Troy was built and rebuilt numerous times over its history of existence. Overall troy was originally built in 3000 B.C. The city is known as the main focus of the Trojan War which lasted around ten years from 1194 to 1184 B.C. One other large historic site i visited was the city of Ephesus, Greece. Ephesus is know for its massive library which was constructed in 117 A.D. and designed by a man named Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus which was the consul in Rome and in charge of all public building. He also created a theater called, The Great Theater which was created in 281 B.C. and seats 25,000 people. The Great Theater is know to be the largest in Anatolia.
